CCOA holds Thanksgiving dinner
Zion Star AME Church hosted the Concerned Citizens of Atmore (CCOA) annual pre-Thanksgiving dinner Saturday, November 23. The Rev. Jean Archie is pastor of Zion Star. Concerned Citizens fed more than 100 elderly, sick and shut-in, and children Saturday. Open Mic competition a big hit
By DON FLETCHER News Staff Writer While hundreds strolled the sidewalks of downtown Atmore last Thursday to enjoy Music on Main, the several dozen who gathered in a grassy field on the northern rim of Main found just as much enjoyment. Support ACH Auxiliary’s Tree of Love
Special to Atmore News The Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary invites you to participate in their Tree of Love fundraiser. This annual project uses donations to purchase equipment as well as furnishings and supplies for the hospital. ACH Auxiliary donates toward purchase of car transfer simulator
