The University of Alabama has released the names of students who made the Dean’s List during Fall Semester 2023. Tanna Spence of Atmore was among the students named to Samford University’s Dean’s List for the fall 2023 semester.To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework.The Dean’s List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

For Fall Semester 2023, Patrick Byrd and Symone Perkins of Atmore were named to the UA Early College Director’s List by obtaining a 3.6 or higher GPA for the term.The Director’s List recognizes students enrolled in classes through the UA Early College program which allows high school students to get a head start on their college courses.
