SAIL Center names Valentine king and queen
Alice Klopfenstein Wilson and James Wilson, who were married in October, were crowned SAIL Center King and Queen during Tuesday’s Valentine’s Day Banquet at the local senior activity center. EA weightlifters break 3 state records
Escambia Academy’s 35-member weightlifting team captured seven individual state championships, including three lifters who broke state records, while seven others were either runners-up or took third place in the AISA Region 3 Weightlifting Championships, held at Pickens Academy this week. Trae Lee (heavyweight), Kris Brown (middleweight) and Chase Bell (lightweight) each were named outstanding lifter overall in his classification. Jam packed PTO meeting at ACM

Four students from across the county competed in a countywide spelling bee Wednesday, February 8. The top speller was Jaelyn Bloodsworth who will compete in the state bee March 11 in Montgomery.
