The Escambia County High School third annual Days of Summer Giveaway is coming up, but in a shortened version this year. Principal Dennis Fuqua said the event will be 22 days rather than 50 and is starting later. Drawings will be held daily from August 7 through August 28. Tickets are $20 each or three for $50. Rathsack honored
Each year, the Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary honors a volunteer who epitomizes the spirit and work of the Auxiliary. At the annual banquet held Thursday, July 6, Judy Rathsack, center, was honored by her peers as Volunteer of the Year. At left is Auxiliary President Patsy Brown, at right ACH President Doug Tanner. Thanks for showing your colors!
Myrna Monroe enjoyed working on the flag insert we had in Atmore News Wednesday, June 28. The project was her idea and she embraced it. Lucy Swift was the first to send us a message in appreciation for the flag.
