Reader Leaders at Perdido School
Eighteen students in first through sixth grade were recognized at Perdido School’s Elementary Awards Day program. These students were the top Accelerated Reader (AR) point earners for their respective grade levels, while maintaining a minimum 85 percent overall comprehension rate on all quizzes taken throughout the school year.
Huber, Taylor on honors list
LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama has announced the students named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2017 academic semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, students must obtain at least a 3.25 grade point average while attempting at least 12 semester hours. Students from Atmore named to the UWA Dean’s List are Christopher Huber and Jordan Taylor.
Perdido E/S recognizes students with perfect attendance
Thirty-three students at Perdido Elementary / Middle School were recognized for their outstanding effort to have perfect attendance for the current school year. They were treated to a special field trip for a movie at Wind Creek in Atmore, followed by a pizza party in the park. Shown in no particular order are students recognized for perfect attendance.
