Man dead, woman critical after home invasion
Atmore police are investigating the second homicide within the city over the past five days after an early morning (Monday, August 7) home invasion left a Broad Street resident dead and his wife or female partner in critical condition. Two shot at Broad Street residence in Atmore
Details remained sketchy at 4 a.m. Monday (Aug. 7) but two people were reportedly shot inside a Broad Street residence about an hour earlier. Flashing blue and red lights continued to cut the early morning air as Atmore police and firefighters remained at the 170 Broad Street shooting scene.
