Deacons delivering gifts
Each year, the Men’s Department at Mt. Gillead Missionary Baptist Church fills Christmas gift bags for the male residents at Atmore Nursing Center. This year, they delivered bags to 32 residents Wednesday, December 20. The bags contain caps and socks and toiletries. Coming together in Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving bounty
Each year, members of the Escambia County (Ala.) Area Pastors’ and Ministers’ Wives Association take care of folks who may not have as much as some others.
