ECMS holds meet and greet
Escambia County Middle School held a meet and greet Friday afternoon, August 4. Parents and students were invited to meet the teachers, bring school supplies and tour the school. ACH Auxiliary presents scholarship
Each year, Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary presents two scholarships to local students in the medical field. This year, one of the recipients is Kate Smith, who is studying biomedical engineering specializing in tissue engineering at UAB. Atmore residents receive UA degrees
The University of Alabama awarded approximately 5,000 degrees during spring commencement May 5-7 in Tuscaloosa. Degree recipients included the following students from Atmore: Caitlyn Bruley, Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Colton Cumbie, Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Information Sciences; James McKinley, Master of Business Administration; Jamieka McMorris, Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business Administration; Sarah Ziglar, Bachelor of Science in Education.  
CACC releases honors lists
Coastal Alabama Community College’s Brewton and Atmore campuses have released the President’s List and Dean’s List for the Spring 2017 semester. President’s List Requirements for inclusion on the President’s List are a semester grade point average of 4.0 and completion of a minimum semester course load of 12 semester credit hours of college-level work.
