Each year, the Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary honors a volunteer who epitomizes the spirit and work of the Auxiliary. Myrna Monroe enjoyed working on the flag insert we had in Atmore News Wednesday, June 28. The project was her idea and she embraced it. Lucy Swift was the first to send us a message in appreciation for the flag. Registration for swimming/diving lessons is Monday, July 10
Registration for the 3rd and final session of swimming/diving lessons at Tom Byrne Park Pool will be held Monday, July 10, from 5 to 6 p.m., at the pool. Classes will begin on Monday, July 17. Celebrating freedom
It would be difficult to sit through the First Assembly of God Celebration of Freedom service and not be moved. Each year, the church holds a patriotic service on the Sunday nearest July 4th.
