Benefit set for Respresses
On October 1, Tyler and Ashley Respress were involved in a terrible vehicle accident in Walnut Hill. They sustained long-lasting injuries. Coastal Alabama Warhawk Softball and Student Support Services are coming together to “Strike Out Hunger” in the local area. They want your help. From now through Thursday, November 9, bring your unexpired canned goods or non-perishable food to the Atmore or Brewton campus. All food will be donated to local food banks. YMCA GECA haunted house
The YMCA and Greater Escambia Council for the Arts haunted house was a hit again this year. The house was open Thursday through Saturday nights and Monday night. “Tour guide” Sharon Poulsen escorted visitors through the Asylum of the Dead. Community Harvest Festival
Unity Baptist Church and First Baptist Church provided tons of family fun at the Community Harvest Festival Sunday, October 28, in Tom Byrne Park. Games included corn hole, treasure dig, scavenger hunt, bean bag toss, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin putt putt, a sack race, and pumpkin patch fishing.
