Local YMCA awarded energy efficiency, soccer grants

ECHS winning door
The theme of Escambia County High School homecoming was “There’s no place like home – coming.” Wizard of Oz images abounded in the parade and in the fiercely competitive door decoration contest. Teacher Kim Eddins’ homeroom won the door contest this year (as voted on by alumni), with a spinning tornado on top of the house, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion, and of course, the Blue Devil.
