County youth excel at Junior Beef Expo
Two Escambia County young men brought home ribbons in the 60th Alabama Junior Beef Expo (JBE) March 15-17, held inside Teague Arena on the Garrett Coliseum grounds in Montgomery. Colbie English took fifth in the Class 13 Intermediate Division Showmanship competition. Rowdy Rutherford placed sixth in the Class 10 Intermediate Division Showmanship competition. ACF gives back $90,000 first year
The Atmore Community Foundation, an affiliate of The Community Foundation of South Alabama, announced its first competitive grant awards on Thursday, March 22,at the United Bank Annual Joint Advisory Board Meeting.
