Public schools closed Wednesday
Escambia County Superintendent of Education released the following: All Escambia County Public Schools (Alabama) will be closed Wednesday, January 17, 2018, due to a severe winter weather advisory.  A decision will be made tomorrow about school for Thursday. Sign-ups under way for farmer’s market vouchers
Escambia County Agency on Aging has begun accepting applications for its 2018 Senior Farmers Market Voucher program, which provides those who meet age and income requirements to receive vouchers that may be exchanged for produce or other food items at any designated farmers market in the state.
