GECA play coming up
The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts is presenting Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs of the Black Forest this month. Sherrie Hursh and her daughter Dana Landis are directing the two casts – both are complete children’s casts, with a total of 36 kids. ages 7 to 18. One cast will perform Thursday and Saturday, the other on Friday and Sunday. In addition, they are performing 12 school shows.…
Celebrating Rosa Parks’ legacy – Honoring those who make a difference
The 11th Annual Rosa Parks Breakfast celebrated Mrs. Parks’ legacy as the Mother of the Civil Rights Movement, but it was also a celebration of outstanding citizens.
