Those who serve were served Thursday evening, July 6, at the annual Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary Appreciation Banquet. ACH President Doug Tanner and members of the ACH staff served the women and one man who volunteer their time at the hospital. Plenty of room for students – No overcrowding for RP, ECMS
The Escambia County Board of Education voted June 29 to move ahead with the consolidation of A.C. Moore Elementary with Rachel Patterson Elementary and Escambia County Middle schools. Immediately, some people started criticizing the action due to the overcrowding that was sure to follow such a move. ECHS giveaway
The Escambia County High School third annual Days of Summer Giveaway is coming up, but in a shortened version this year. Principal Dennis Fuqua said the event will be 22 days rather than 50 and is starting later. Drawings will be held daily from August 7 through August 28. Tickets are $20 each or three for $50.
