Shell named to Hall of Fame
Five area residents will be inducted into the Atmore Area Hall of Fame in April. Billy Conn Madison, chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee, released the names of this year’s inductees: William America, Earl Etheridge, Dr. William T. Hall, Howard Shell, and Eddie Staff. EA holds open house
  The Escambia Academy administration and faculty opened the schoolhouse doors Thursday, March 9, and invited the community inside. The school’s open house provided an opportunity for families who might be considering the school to get an up close and personal look. From Southern Pine and LifeFlight on the school grounds to college and agency reps in the gym, Escambia County High School’s College and Career Fair gave students a broad spectrum of opportunities.
