Memorial Day program planned
VFW Post 7016 and American Legion Post 90 will present a Memorial Day program Monday, May 29, 9 a.m., at the Veterans Monument in front of Atmore City Hall. The 2017 Leadership Atmore class graduated Monday evening, May 15. Members celebrated new friendships and a new appreciation for the town they call home – some for a long time, some for only a short time. ECHS shatters record – Seniors receive $4.3 million in scholarships
Escambia County High School a failing school? Don’t tell this senior class. Apparently they didn’t get the word. This class of 110 seniors shattered the old school record for scholarships with a whopping $4.3 million in scholarship offers.
