Gulf Winds Credit Union presented a check for $25,000 to Pride of Atmore’s Save the Strand campaign Monday, December 9. The campaign is part of Pride’s revitalization of downtown Atmore. The Atmore Police Department has made an arrest in connection to the armed robbery complaint at the Circle K, 901 West Nashville Avenue, Atmore, that occurred on December 7. Thomas D. McNeal, 25, from Atmore, was charged with robbery 1st degree. McNeal is currently in the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
