Coalition meets to discuss community needs
The ALProHealth Coalition met February 16 to discuss possible upcoming projects. Funds have most recently been used at the crosswalk on Ridgeley Street and to help pay for lighting in the boxcar park project downtown. The mission of ALProHealth is to increase access to healthier foods and promote active transportation to everyday destinations. Rosa Juliette Booker   Booker Mrs. Rosa Juliette Booker, age 97, of Goodway, Ala., passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her residence.  She was a member of Goodway Baptist Church and retired as the Postmaster of the Goodway Post Office.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gayron Booker and parents, J.J.
