Ribs indoors
Pride of Atmore’s Ribs on Ridgeley event became Ribs at the Encore at the Strand Thursday, October 12, when the sit-down dinner was moved to a new venue. Dinner was served beginning at 5:30, and some folks were waiting at the door for the barbecue rib dinners. Some diners came later as evidenced by the empty chairs at the long tables in Encore.

Special to Atmore News Deer season opens across Alabama this Saturday, October 14, and continues through January 15.White-tailed deer are Alabama’s most-hunted game animal.
