Jordan Warren Pullen of Century, Fla., graduated from U.S. Marine Corps basic training in October 2024 as an expert rifleman and was promoted in April to Lance Corporal (LCpl). The 19-year-old Marine, a 2024 graduate of Northview High School, is the son of Lorna Lea Pullen of Century and Julius Warren Pullen III of Sylacauga. LCpl Pullen’s mother, grandmother (Charlotte McCrory) and great-aunt (Tracy Calosano) attended his graduation, while other family members — including sister JadeLynn Pullen and brother Landin James Edward Flowers — watched the ceremony online.
