Women Uplifting Women plans fall concert

Women Uplifting Women, a non-profit organization, is sponsoring a concert to be held in November.
The annual musical concert is held in honor of Stephanie Redmond, the daughter of Joe and Jeanie Ferrell. This year, the concert will take place November 8 at The Club. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and the program will begin promptly at 5 p.m.
The artist for this year has not been announced. In 2023, Women Uplifting Women welcomed The Brown Sisters, and in 2024, Lisa Knowles-Smith.
The organization’s mission
“Women Uplifting Women is an LLC nonprofit organization committed to bettering the lives of single parents and their children. We strive to create a foundation of independence through advocacy, resource provision, and mental health support. In addition to financial assistance, we offer various resources to help single parents improve their financial stability, personal and emotional well-being, development, mentorship, and entrepreneurship training.”
