The following felony arrests were reported by officers of the Atmore Police Department (APD) during the period April 10-11:
Johnny Patterson

The 51-year-old Atmore man was arrested April 11 on felony and misdemeanor drug possession charges and was also charged with allowing two children to remain in close proximity to his drug stash.
Patterson was taken into custody after APD narcotics agents executed a search warrant around 5:50 a.m. in the 100 block of Ashley Street.
The search turned up unspecified quantities of crack cocaine, marijuana, items used to package narcotics, items used to ingest narcotics, and unidentified pills that were sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for identification.
Two children were discovered in a room, in close proximity to the narcotics, police said.
Patterson was booked into the Escambia County Detention Center on one count each of possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and chemical endangerment of a child.
He remained in the county jail Monday afternoon, April 14.
Michael Duncan

The Atmore man, 52, was arrested April 11 after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a South Road residence.
Police were sent to the site around 2:15 p.m. There were visible injuries to the victim, and Duncan was arrested.
He was booked into the ECDC on one count of domestic violence-strangulation or suffocation and remained in jail Monday afternoon, April 14.
Evelyn Elliott

Elliott, 47, of Atmore was arrested April 10 after her vehicle was stopped for speeding along Swift Mill Road.
The traffic stop occurred around 7:45 p.m. Reports show the officer “noted suspicious behavior and requested consent to search the vehicle.”
Several grams of a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine were found in the vehicle, along with a glass pipe that contained methamphetamine residue, and Elliott was taken into custody.
She was booked into the county jail on one count each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was no longer listed on the ECDC inmate roster Monday afternoon, April 14.
Alicia Blakely

The 38-year-old Mobile woman was arrested April 14 on a felony drug possession charge after the vehicle she was driving was stopped for a stop sign violation.
The police pullover happened around 6:55 p.m. on Woods Road. The officer detected the odor of marijuana as he talked with Blakeley.
A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, and an undisclosed quantity of Ecstasy and a small amount of marijuana were discovered.
Blakeley was processed into the county jail on one count each of possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana.
She remained in the ECDC early Tuesday, April 15.
