The Greater Escambia Center for the Arts (GECA) is gearing up for its next children’s play, ‘Twice Upon A Time’, by Tracy Wells, set to open at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 29. Public shows are scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 29 through Saturday, March 2 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 3.
Tickets will be available online at www.gecarts.org and at the door for $12. Doors open a half hour prior to the show. There will be a 15-minute intermission during the show.
All concessions are $1.50 and will be sold during intermission.
Directed by and starring Sharon Poulsen with assistant director Simon Bush, who will also be on stage, this spin on the all too familiar timeless fairy tales will bring plenty of laughter. Bedtime stories will never be the same when this cast of quirky characters and mishaps along the way unfold. Loaded with funny lines and unique situations, this one-act play will entertain and leave its audience wanting more.
