Chiefs lose to Aggies

This past Friday night, September 8, the Northview Chiefs traveled to Cantonment to battle against the Tate Aggies. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, they came up short with a final score of 42-14.
In the first quarter, the Aggies received the ball on kick-off. Soon after, Tate’s Andre Colston ran the ball into the end zone for the first touchdown of the night. The extra point was good, making the score 7-0 early on. Northview was not able to score on their first possession, so Tate got the ball back and scored again, bringing the score to 14-0. Tate scored for the third time in the first quarter, making it 21-0.
Starting off the second quarter, the Aggies scored yet again; the score 28-0. They were able to score yet again, making it 35-0. Northview’s Joe Wright ran the ball in for the first Chief touchdown of the night, making the score 35-7.
In the third quarter of the ball game, Northview got a fumble recovery to start it off strong for the Chiefs. The Aggies got the ball back again soon after, and they scored their final touchdown of the night, bringing the final score to 42-7.
Neither team was able to score in the final quarter of the game.
It was not the outcome the Chiefs were hoping for, but they will play again this week at home. The Chiefs’ current record is 0-3.
This Friday night the Chiefs will host Lighthouse Academy for senior night. The game starts at 7, but the senior night festivities will begin before then. You don’t want to miss it. Tickets will be sold on Gofan.com
