Felony pot charges filed

Sheriff’s deputies and state troopers arrested an Atmore resident and a Uriah resident on felony marijuana possession charges and a third arrest involving a lesser amount of pot.
Clint Gregson, 49, of Uriah was arrested March 21 by Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Office deputies on one count each of first-degree possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Gregson remained in the county jail late Monday, March 27.
Alabama State Troopers arrested Jaylon Jerell North, 20, of Atmore March 24 and charged him with one count of first-degree possession of marijuana.
North remained in the county jail late Monday, March 27.
ECSO (Ala,) officers arrested 24-year-old David Tyler Vickery of Atmore March 24 on several charges, including felonious assault.
Vickery remained in the county jail late Monday, March 27, charged with one count of second-degree assault, a Class C felony, as well as one count each of resisting arrest and second-degree possession of marijuana, both misdemeanors.
