Brantley speaks to Lions Club

The Atmore Lions Club met Wednesday, September 7, in the First Baptist Church fellowship hall. President Lion Chuck Brooks called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Lion Dr. Kevin Garrett gave the blessing. Whitney Floyd and Brett Helton were introduced as guests and listened with the 17 others as speaker John Brantley gave the program. Brantley is with Alabama Agriculture in Monroeville and talked to the group about how his company gives loans for farm / land related projects. He also gave a presentation on cow trivia.
President Lion Chuck reminded members that Williams Station Day is Oct. 22 and sign up sheets will be sent to members to man the Lions mop and broom booth, as well as for the Auburn-Alabama food drive on October 29 which benefits Atmore Christian Care.
