They served pizza and healthy snacks, and every student could choose a free book to take home. HIPPY HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) was represented at the Rachel Patterson Elementary open house Friday, August 5. HIPPY is a home-based and parent-involved school readiness program that helps parents prepare their children ages three to five years old for success in school.
