Last week, the Northview Chiefs traveled to Pensacola to play the Catholic Crusaders, and unfortunately for Northview, Catholic ended up on top, 45-13.
Catholic went into the game ready to win and they started off strong with a 14-point lead. Later on, Northview’s junior Jamarkus Jefferson scored a touchdown for the Chiefs. The extra point was good, bringing the score to 14-7, with Catholic still on top.
In the second quarter, Catholic turned up the heat and scored a few more touchdowns, which brought the score to a whopping 38-7 at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Crusaders were not satisfied by their 31-point lead, so they scored yet another touchdown, bringing the score to 45-7.
However, Northview pushed on and was not done putting up a fight just yet. In the fourth quarter with only minutes to go, Jefferson scored the second and final touchdown for the Northview Chiefs Friday night, which brought the final score up to 45-13.
The Chiefs are currently 2-4 and will face the Marianna Bulldogs next week at home in Bratt. It’s gonna be a great game, make sure to come out and support the Chiefs in this cool, fall weather! The game starts at 7 p.m., see y’all there!
