Martin on Troy’s honors list

Benjamin Martin of Atmore has been named to the Provost’s List at Troy University for the summer semester / Term 5 of the 2020/2021 academic year.The Provost’s List honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65.Troy University is a public, historic, international university with 22,500 students and 154,000 alumni.

Tickets available for all shows

E. Horner drug suspects identified

Carter Bowman Atmore Police Chief Chuck Brooks confirmed today (Friday, Aug. 6) that 25-year-old Dewitt Champ Carter of Atmore and Anna Leigh Bowman, 20, of Bay Minette were the suspects arrested Thursday on felony drug possession charges that evolved from police response to a domestic incident at an East Horner Street residence.
