Kimble Nikita Davis

Mr. Kimble Nikita Davis, age 58, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 in Atmore, Ala. He was a lifelong resident of Atmore. He loved plants and gardening. He always had a “Green Thumb”. He adored all his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Frances Hayles Davis.
Mr. Davis is survived by his sister, Gaye King; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Gabe Holloway officiating. Burial followed at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Philip Kelly

Mr. Philip Kelly, age, 81, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 after a recent stay at Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola, Fla. Mr. Phil as most knew him, was a lifelong resident of Byrneville, Fla. He was an active member and deacon at Bratt First Baptist Church. He was a 1958 Century High graduate and enlisted in the United States Army until 1961. Most of his military career was in Italy. He was a millwright for over 30 years and retired from Masland Carpets in Atmore, Ala. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and woodworking, but most of all he loved his family and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvestus and Mamie (Barrow) Kelly; three brothers, Foy (Elmer) Kelly, Robert (Maxine) Kelly and Herman (Shelia) Kelly.
Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Wanda Sue Kelly; two daughters, Lynn (Mark) Hendricks and Amanda (Keith) Holland; six grandchildren, Keegan (Mallory) Lambeth, Samantha (Josh) Daugett, Rebecca Calloway, Leigha Holland, Hillary (Jesse) Floyd and Abby Hendricks; five great-grandchildren, Lawson Lambeth, Harper Daugett, Walker Lambeth, Cason Daugett and soon to be baby girl, Lambeth; many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 5, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Petty-eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC. Burial followed at Byrneville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends Monday, July 5, 2021 at Noon until service time at 1p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.
Pallbearers were Billy McCann, Matt Carter, Mark Carter, Danny Fuller, Mike Hanks and Bobby Holland.
Honorary pallbearers were Bratt First Baptist Senior Sunday School Class.

Brandon Christopher Hall

Mr. Brandon Christopher Hall, age 36, passed away June 25, 2021. He was born in Atmore, Ala. to Carolyn Johnson. He lived most of his life in Pensacola, Fla. until he went to work for Kirby’s Vacuum 10 plus years. 

He was preceded in death by his fathers, Alfred Bruce Hall and Randal D. Johnson; grandparents, Roy and Vivian Harrison, Ernest Hall; aunt and uncle, Linda and Jeff Smith.
Mr. Hall is survived by his mother, Carolyn Johnson; sisters, Megan McMillin, Jennifer (Jeff) Bradbury, Kati (Brian) Toy and Windy Hall; brother, Alfred Bruce Hall II; nephews, Joseph, Michael, Mason, Lee Than, Bishop, Jacob and Jared;  nieces, Shianne, Journee, and LeeAnn, Grandparents, Jimmy (Louise) Robarts, Mildred Hall, Elizabeth Harrison, Jacqueline Brown and Garland (Bobbi) Johnson;  aunts and uncles, Rodney(Kim) Johnson, Sam(Kerry) Jackson, Mark (Debbie) Hall, Donnette Garvin, Renee White, Lynn Garcia and Mike White; special cousins, Shelia (Bill) Carnley and Becky (Chris) Perez; numerous cousins; girlfriend, Audrea Laramee and Kirby family.
Funeral Services were held Monday July 5, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family received friends Monday, July 5, 2021 from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were William Carnley, James Kimbler, Rodney Johnson, Chris Perez, Patrick Frank and Joseph McIlwain.
Honorary pallbearer were Kirby’s Corporation.

Mr. Joel Lewis, age 45, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021.

Funeral arrangements are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Mayberry Funeral Home, Atmore, with Elder Jason A. Potts, Messenger of Strength.

William Earley Harden, Sr.

Mr. William Earley Harden, Sr., age 66, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 He was born in Prichard, Ala. to the late Charlie Harden, Jr. and Emma Crenshaw Harden. He was a 1973 graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School and then was a 1980 graduate of Troy State University.  He was a faithful member of Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mobile, Ala. and while in Montgomery, Ala. he attended Bethany Seventh Day Adventist Church. He retired from the State of Alabama where he worked for thirty one years as a state examiner. He enjoyed bowling and participated in competitive bowling leagues while in Mobile. He also enjoyed traveling.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Ida Jones Harden and Henry “Blade” and Hattie Wilkerson Crenshaw.

Mr. Harden is survived by a very devoted caregiver, Mary Washington Harden; son, William E. Harden Jr. (Lindsay) and daughter, Dr. Carol Y. Harden; grandson, William E. Harden III; siblings, Louise Rogers, Leala Green, Lillie Minor, Jimmie, Charles (Barbara), Clarence (LaKeisha), Wilbert (Angela), Samuel (Donna) Harden; sisters-in-law, Celeste and Wanda Harden; devoted cousins, Mary Smith and Christine Harden; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mobile, with Pastor John Parker officiating. Interment followed in Pollard Cemetery, Pollard, Ala.

Pallbearers were Williams Harden Jr., Jimmie Harden, Wilbert Harden, Jimmie Crenshaw, Jarvis Crenshaw and Charles Fortune.

LeRoy Hall

Mr. LeRoy Hall of Brewton, Ala., passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at West Florida Hospital, Pensacola, Fla.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Noon at St. John Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery,
