At the petting zoo

The Atmore Public Library summer reading program kicked off Friday, June 4, with a petting zoo on the library grounds. It appears Colenna Garcia made a new friend as she visited different animals. Since this was the first session of this year’s summer reading program, library staff members were not sure what to expect after COVID isolation. They were pleased that 75 children and 25 adults attended. This Friday at 10, the library will host a poodle show.
