Legion returning to business

Special to Atmore News

American Legion Billy Glenn Rushing Post 90 is hosting a “Return to Business” social, Friday, April 30, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
“It’s been over twelve months since the Post conducted general membership meetings and shared valuable social time with our membership,” Adjutant Paul Chason said. “To ‘kick-off’ a return to a more ‘normal’ year, our desire is to host all current, past, and potential members to our social event. This includes our partners from the Post 90 Auxiliary.”
The event will be held at Post 90, 101 West Church Street, Atmore. Chason said plans are to hold the majority of the event outside. The menu will include hamburgers and hot dogs and with traditional sides and fixins’.
Legion members and Auxiliary members planning to attend are asked to RSVP to the Post Adjutant or Post Commander via email at Atmorealpost90@gmail.com;
Adjutant at 850-450-2916; Commander at 801-891-1456.
Regular business meetings resume May 18, and are held third Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m.

Q. What are the eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion?
