Financial, economic summit set

The Fair Housing Agency of Alabama, in partnership with the Allstate Foundation, will sponsor a community Financial Literacy / Economic Empowerment Summit on Friday, January 22, at Houston Avery Park, 200 Park Drive in Atmore, beginning at noon.
This event will provide the information, resources and technologies that will help improve the financial and economic viability of individuals and families by enabling attendees to increase personal assets and financial options, improve credit reports, and purchase a home. Information will be provided relative to the Alabama Tenant / Landlord Law and renter rights.
COVID-19 infection prevention and safety protocols information will also be provided. Masks are required and social distancing will be implemented.
This summit is presented also in partnership with Truist Bank, WalMart Stores, Wells Fargo Foundation, Regions Bank, and Southern Partners Fund.
