Atmore Christian continued to be a dominating force on the basketball court as the Rams secured two more wins last week and ran their season mark to 5-1.
The first win came against Aletheia Academy, 75-47, on December 7.
Caeden Battles tallied over 23 points to lead the Rams, a performance that was supplemented by his brother, Emmett Battles, who contributed 18 points.
Dexter Smoker scored 12, Gage Gades chipped in with 10, Reese White scored eight and Titus Dean registered four points.
The Rams next struck down South Baldwin, 74- 43, last Thursday, December 10.
Caeden Battles once again led the way for ACS, scoring a personal-high 31 points. White scored 16, and Gades scored 11 points, while Emmett Battles put up nine points, Dean scored four and Smoker contributed three.
The Rams were slated to face Snook on Tuesday, December 15, after Tuesday’s press deadline. That game will be featured in next week’s edition of Atmore News.
“These were good wins for us,” ACS head coach Tim Battles said. “We needed those wins, as we face a very difficult opponent this week. Snook has a great team and hopefully these wins will help as we go into that match.”
