Two minors and two adults were injured shortly before 2 p.m. Friday afternoon in a three-vehicle accident near Poarch.
The driver of the sedan apparently (according to witnesses) pulled out of Atmosphere Road in front of a GMC pickup which was traveling southbound on Poarch Road. The car was t-boned and then struck a Republic Services garbage truck traveling north on Poarch Road.
Emergency crews from Poarch Fire Department, Poarch Police Department,
Alabama State Troopers and ASAP Ambulance Service responded to the scene of
the accident where the two adults were cut from the vehicle and transported by ambulance. The two minors were transported by Lifeflight.
Drivers of the Republic Services garbage truck and pickup truck were uninjured.
