In accordance with its “Emergency Declaration” dated March 17, the Escambia County Courthouse in Brewton and Satellite Office in Atmore will remain closed to the public through April 17. However, effective April 6, limited access will be available, for time-sensitive matters that cannot be completed by telephone, mail, or online.
Admission to the courthouse will be by appointment only, and citizens with courthouse appointments will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering the building.
The Escambia County Probate Office, Tax Collector’s Office and Tax Assessor’s Office will be available from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
