Collecting items for Women’s Health Program at Birmingham VA Medical Center
The Women’s Health Program at Birmingham VA Medical Center provides maternity care to expecting moms and mothers who are veterans. Each year, a number of agencies and organizations across the country help women in the program by collecting much-needed baby items.
In our area, the Atmore VFW Auxiliary holds an annual Mommy and Me baby shower for the Women’s Health Program.
You’re invited to participate on Saturday, January 11, by dropping items off at 128 S. Main (Atmore News office), from 10 a.m. to noon.
Following is a list of items requested:
* Diapers
* Diaper rash ointment
* Baby wipes
* Baby Lotion
* Baby shampoo/wash
* Baby combs & brushes
* Pacifiers
* Sippy Cups & Bottles
* Blankets
* Clothing items (onesies, socks, etc.)
* Car Seats
* Highchairs
