You may have attended a session at the Atmore Public Library a couple of years ago when Glenn Wills presented a program based on his two books – Forgotten Alabama and More Forgotten Alabama.
He’s returning to the library Thursday, January 16, at 2 p.m., and he has a new book –200 Years of Forgotten Alabama – that will be included in this session.
Wills travels the state and photographs the old signs, the abandoned churches, the once proud landmarks that now lie in ruins. In his sessions, he uses a power point presentation and gives the history of each subject or at least as much as he has been able to find out.
Library Director Hope Lassiter invites everyone to attend and see Alabama through Wills’ eyes.
