The staff at Huxford Elementary School held their annual fall carnival Thursday, October 10. They always feature several games and other activities. And one of the most popular activities every year is the cake walk.

Local NASCAR fans had a unique opportunity Monday, October 14, as Smith Tractor Company in Atmore hosted the FedEX No. 11 Toyota Camry driven by Denny Hamlin. Although Hamlin was not on hand, racing experts were there to share information and answer questions.
