Atmore Community Hospital is again offering pulmonary services to local residents. Pulmonary Associates of Mobile and Atmore Community Hospital (ACH) have agreed to provide ongoing pulmonary services through a monthly hospital clinic.
“We worked very hard to secure the Pulmonary Associates of Mobile,” said Terry Wilson, Cardiopulmonary Manager, ACH. “The plan is to have them on site one day a month through the rest of 2019 and hopefully as the utilization of the service increases, they will begin coming even more frequently.”
Pulmonary Associates of Mobile is scheduled to be at ACH on October 10, November 7 and December 19. They will conduct their clinics on the second floor of ACH in the Cardiopulmonary Department. Patients should check in and register at the Radiology Department window.
“It is exciting to be able to resume these services in Atmore,” said Suzanne McGill, ACH Interim Administrator and Director of Nursing. “Dr. Pitts and Dr. Porr will fill a much-needed gap in medical care we desperately need in our community.”
