Ezra Grant has begun his second year at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Grant graduated Catholic High School of Baton Rouge in 2017. Several months later, he reported to the United States Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS), a year-long prep program for the Military Academy.
While at USMAPS, Grant studied basic subjects and was a member of the soccer team and Sandhurst Military Skills Team.
In 2018, Grant graduated USMAPS with honors and reported to the United States Military Academy at West Point two months later. He completed his first year and declared his major to be Applied Statistics and Data Science.
He is the son of Sidney and Nicole Grant of Gulfport, Miss.; the grandson of Pastor Sidney and Katie Grant of Atmore; and the grandson of the late Voltaire Serf of Baton Rouge, La., and Rowena Derovan of Baton Rouge.
