Free training sessions scheduled
The Escambia County Board of Education will host FREE substitute personnel training sessions beginning next week.
Sessions will be held at the following locations:
* Friday, August 2 – 9 a.m. – Escambia County Middle School cafeteria
* Tuesday, August 6 – 9 a.m. – Flomaton High School auditorium
* Wednesday, August 7 – 9 a.m. – W. S. Neal High School Auditorium
* Friday, August 9 – 9 a.m. – Atmore Central Office
If you are currently on the substitute list for the school district and/or wish to become a substitute teacher, teacher assistant, secretary, cafeteria worker or custodian, you must attend this training before you can begin subbing for the 2019-2020 school year. No one will be allowed to sub before attending one of these mandatory sessions. Each session will last approximately 2 hours.
