Awards were presented Friday, June 28, at the last session of the Atmore Public Library summer reading program.
The top readers are as follows:
* 5-8 age group – first place: Charlie Trawick; second place: Carmarie Caldwell
* 9-11 age group – first place: Avery Trawick; second place: Harlow Donnell
* 12-up – first place: Mario Martinez; second place: Samarion Clark
Library Director Hope Lassiter reports that more than 1,000 books were circulated by children during the month of June.
