In the world of healthcare, surveys and accreditation guidelines assure that standards are maintained. Rarely does a facility come through an annual standard survey deficiency free – meaning there are no areas that need improvement or need to be corrected. But recently Atmore Nursing Center recently completed their annual survey and came through it deficiency free – for the first time in at least 32 years, according to Administrator Morgan Smith. Friday afternoon, May 2, Smith got the entire staff, shown above, together for a celebration.
