The Escambia County High School football team kicked off its Spring Pepsi Fundraiser last week to help raise money for the football program.
“We are very excited,” Blue Devils head coach Scott Mason said. “The fundraiser will help raise money for equipment, field supplies, weight lifting supplements and football uniforms.”
Mason pointed out that such events are crucial to the betterment of the school’s program.
“These fundraisers are key to being able to maintain an excellent athletic program here at ECHS,” he said. “The funds will also help to send players to football camps during the summer. These camps can help create college opportunities for our kids.”
The team will be selling canned Pepsi products at $11 a case, 20-ounce Gatorade at $24 a case and 16.9-ounce water at $10 a case.
“We are lucky to have a company such as Pepsi to help us out with our needs and to support our school and the kids,” Mason said.
