EA’s boys continue to shine on the track

Finish 1st in local meet, 3rd at Jay in preparation for state

Escambia Academy’s boys turned in impressive showings during back-to-back track meets held last week.
The Cougars placed first on their home track on March 27 and walked away with a third-place finish during a March 28 track meet in Jay.
EA out-performed nine other schools from around the state in the first meet and almost doubled the points total of the third and fourth-place teams.
EA scored 155.5 points to easily outdistance Northside, which came in second with a score of 128. Individual performances were not provided.
During the next day’s meet in Jay, EA scored 80 points, Central placed second with 90 points, and Pensacola Christian Academy took the victory with 141 points.
