The Perdido School 2018-19 Spelling Bee was held Wednesday, January 9.
All the participants did a fantastic job representing their grade level in the school spelling bee.
After 35 rounds, fifth-grader Carley New was declared the champion and Dessie James was first runner-up. Carley will represent Perdido School in the county spelling bee Tuesday, February 5, in Loxley.
