The University of Alabama Escambia County Alumni is holding the 15th Annual Walter Lewis Golf Tournament Thursday, Sept. 13, at Juniper Creek Golf Course, the former Country Club of Brewton.
This event raises money for local scholarship funds, benefitting students in Escambia County, Alabama exclusively.
Since 1995, the Walter Lewis Endowed Scholarship Fund has awarded over $75,000 to outstanding area high school seniors to help pave the way for their education at The University of Alabama. Participation in this annual tournament helps assure the continued funding and success of this scholarship fund. The Escambia County Alumni / Friends Chapter of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association invite all who would like to participate.

A hamburger lunch provided by David’s Catfish House / Josh Godwin will be followed by an afternoon of golf with legendary UA football player Walter Lewis.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
