15 vie for DYW title, scholarships

Young ladies from across the county are participating in the Distinguished Young Women program to be held Saturday, July 28, 6 p.m., Woodfin Patterson Auditorium, Coastal Alabama Community College, Brewton. Tickets, $10 each, are available from each contestant or at the door.
Distinguished Young Women is a national scholarship program that strives to give every young woman the opportunity to further her education and prepare for a successful future.
Bios for the 15 ladies in this year’s program follow:
